Mary W. Rhew

Mary W. Rhew, 68, of Graham, NC passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of William Dale Rhew and the daughter of the late Robert Thompson Walker and the late Josie Lea Maddux Walker. Miss Mary was employed as a bartender at Court Square Bar.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Gooch; sons, Wayne Gooch and his wife Stephanie and Shane Gooch and his fiancée Heather Bradshaw; grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Hailey, Charley, Amber, Makayla, Josie, Kierstyn, Sierra, Dylan and Miranda; great-grandchildren, Joshue, Jayden, Xzavier and Alliana; sister, Bonnie Sue Walker; and brother, Robert Danny Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Spell and brothers, Freddie Walker and Lawson E. Walker.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2020 at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham.
