Mary A. Moyle

Mrs. Mary A. Moyle, 93, of Mebane, NC died at her residence on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 3:00 a.m.

A native of Huntingdon County, PA, she was the wife of the late Ralph Cypher Moyle and the daughter of Robert Bruce Abbott and Flora Sweet Abbott, both deceased. She was a former dental assistant and volunteer with Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC for many years. She also made rosaries for the soldiers overseas. Mrs. Moyle was a member of Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY. She had a strong faith and loved God. She was loved by her family and a faithful caretaker of her children and grandchildren. Mary was an avid painter and loved crafting of various types.

Survivors include three daughters, Lora Moyle of Mebane, NC, Sandra Moyle of Pawleys Island, SC and Susan Moyle Bertuccelli and husband Larry of Yorktown Heights, NY; son, Ralph Bruce Moyle and wife Sheilah of Sylva, NC; four grandchildren, Clay Travis Smith of Rawlins, WY, Sydney Alisa Smith of Durham, NC, Peter Ross Moyle of Sylva, NC and Michael Scott Moyle of Fort Mills, SC; and sister, Martha Jane Abbott of Mebane, NC. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Abbott and Richard Abbott and two sisters, Sarah Coulter and Ruth Howells.

Services will be held at a later date.
