Mary Ruth Hamilton, 89, of Graham passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 10:10 a.m.

A native of Lowden, TN, she was the wife of the late Charlie E. Hamilton and the daughter of Clyde James Bivens and Sallie Tilley Bivens, both deceased. She was a former employee of Glen Raven Mills and a member of the World of Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Rodriguez and husband Juan Monroy of Snow Camp, Brenda Lee Knight and husband Robert of Graham and Penny Ruth McAteer and husband Timmy of Lancaster, SC; two step-daughters, Linda Kinney and husband Mark of Burlington and Diane Moore and husband Gary of Mebane; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons and one brother.

In light of the recent restrictions due to the Coronavirus, a private service will be conducted at the World Pentecostal Church on Thursday, March 19, 2020 by Rev. Kenny Godair. Burial will be held at Alamance Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends at the residence of a daughter, Brenda and Robert Knight, 2245 Waterside Circle, Apt. 101, Graham, NC on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
