Martha Ann Lipsky

Martha Ann Lipsky, 79, of Elon passed away at her residence in the Blakey Hall community.

A native of Burlington, she was the wife of the late Charles M. Sioussat and the daughter of Charles Joshua Lipsky and Dorothy Williamson Lipsky, both deceased. She was a member of Locust Hill United Methodist Church, Yanceyville, NC. Martha enjoyed living and working in the community in multiple professions and served on many committees and clubs, including her work as a bereavement counselor.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Hallberg and husband Jake; grandson, Ryan Hallberg; brother, Ed Lipsky and wife Sherry; and several nephews and nieces, Jessica Reilly and husband Patrick, Josh Lipsky, Abby Lipsky, Gabe Lipsky, Mark Newbury and wife Julie, Tyler Newbury, and Karen Newbury and husband Rick Long.

Services will be held at The Inn at Elon on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception.
