Martha Jane Conklin

Martha Jane Conklin, 91, of Burlington, died Friday, January 5, 2018, at the Twin Lakes Community.

A native of Alamance County, Ms. Conklin was the daughter of the late Joyce C. Conklin and the late Alma Bivins Conklin.

Ms. Conklin was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her sister, Nellie Conklin Moon; brothers Melvin Conklin and wife June and James E. “Jim” Conklin and wife, Dawne and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Kay Conklin Flint.

The family will receive friends Monday, from noon until 1:30 pm at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm in Pine Hill Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Nathan Hooks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Twin Lakes and Hospice of Alamance Caswell for the care shown to Ms.Conklin.
