On June 26, 2019 Marjorie Wall Teague (Granny), 88, of Snow Camp, NC arrived at her new home where she caught up to her husband of 70 years, Marion D. Teague, who had been waiting on her since June 9, 2019. They are now in the presence of their loving Heavenly Father.
She was born in Wetumpka, AL on July 30, 1930 the daughter of the late William Lamar and Lula Fralic Wall.
She is survived by her children, daughter Sheila T. Engel and husband, John of Augusta, GA, son William R. Teague and wife Pamela of Snow Camp and daughter Gayle T. Macon and husband Mike of Snow Camp. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a twin sister, Margaret Wall Whetstone of Jacksonville, FL.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow Lamar Wall of San Diego, CA and Thomas Earl Wall of Pensacola, FL and a sister, Laura Evelyn Wall Summers of Georgia.
Her funeral service will be held at Cane Creek Friends Meeting, Snow Camp, NC with Rev. John Sides officiating on Saturday, June 29th of 11:00 AM with burial in the Meeting’s cemetery. Visitation will be following the service in the fellowship hall.
Her family expresses their heart felt gratitude to the staff at Brookdale Memory Care, Burlington, NC for caring for her with love and compassion during the last year and half of her life. They also want to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for providing extra comfort to her as she transitioned to her heavenly home.
