Margery “Margie” Bradford Jamison passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the age of 87 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born in Vance County, NC to Tankley Bradford and Alice Callis Bradford. She was the wife of the late Wilburn “Bill” William Jamison, Jr. Margie’s roots were in Oxford, NC, a place she returned to all of her life to visit her dearest friend Joyce Slaughter. She lived most of her adult life in Burlington, NC. She earned her real estate license and was the owner of Heritage Real Estate in Graham until she retired. She pursued her passion for gardening during her retirement.
Margie is survived by three children, Bill Jamison and wife Rachel, Tom Jamison and wife Sharon and Doris Rudd and husband Mike; five grandchildren, Philip, Allison and Mary Jamison and Michael and Emily Rudd; two great-grandchildren, Ian and Nicky; and three siblings, Barbara Lind, Mary Larko and Terry Bradford.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors following the service. Margie will be buried at the Jamison family plot at Oakdale Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
