Marilyn King

Marilyn King, 68, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 9:09 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Melvin Fitch King and Mary Lou Newton King, both deceased. She was a graduate of Williams High School and Alamance Community College, and she retired from Lab Corp. Marilyn was a member of Life’s Journey United Church of Christ and helped with the Card Ministry.

Survivors include his brother, James “Jim” King and wife Debbie of Elon; nephews, Jimmy King and wife Sandra of Elon and Brian King; great niece, Angel; and great nephew, Trey.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Micah Royal with the family receiving friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of her brother, Jim King.
