Marie White

Marie Davis White, 93, of Graham passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Richard A. “Dick” White and the daughter of William Johnston Davis and Sarah Curl Davis, both deceased. She was a member of Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star #256.

Survivors include three sons, William “Bill” White of Springfield, VA, James “Jim” White and wife Ann of Poulsbo, WA, and Ralph White of Graham; one sister, Alice Thompson and Roger of Burlington; one brother, Wade Davis of Graham; five grandchildren, Timothy White, John White, Tera White, Jacob White, and Christopher White; and two great grandchildren, Kathleen and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Leslie White; brother, John William Davis; and sister, Berta Cook.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Mark Stephens with the family receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
