Margie Tate Snell

Mrs. Margie Tate Snell, 63, of Mebane passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 13, 2019.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Christopher Raymond Snell, who survives and the daughter of the late William Edward Tate and Mildred Chavis Tate.

In addition to her husband, survivors include four sisters, Peggy Murdoch, Shirley Tate, Bessie Boswell and Faye Tate; one brother, Lee Tate; step-son, Christopher Wayne Snell; step-daughter, Elizabeth Caroline Snell; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Cheek and Louise Herbin and three brothers, John William Tate Kenneth Tate and Don Tate.

A private service will be held at a later date.
