Margaret Sharon Gordon Terrell

Margaret Sharon Gordon Terrell, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Hospice of Alamance County.

Born on June 16, 1945, she was one of three children of Billy Marlin Gordon and Edith Moore Gordon Gilliam of Burlington, NC. They both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Claude Terrell Jr.; her son, Jeff Terrell and his wife Rhonda C. Terrell; and sisters, Marlene Gordon and Deveta Glenn.

Sharon was a former employee of Social Services of Alamance County. She was a longtime member of Glen Hope Baptist Church in Burlington. Her passions were cooking, gardening, and helping others in need. She was treasured by all her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Lamb’s Chapel in Haw River, NC on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be immediately following the service.

Memorials may be made to ministries closest to Sharon’s heart: Faith Force and St. Jude’s.
