God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7) jw.org

Yes, I am Meg, the person in so many of her stories when she and I were living together as 19 yr olds and after in many different places in San Francisco as young women.
The last week I think I have covered in my thoughts and dreams so many if these stories!
We had a Ball! We moved a lot with a stint for a year in Sausalito too!
We met as 13 yr olds and it continued from there.
Through the years we have shared so many things and now they all keep popping up in my thoughts throughout the days and nights.
We had fabulous times together also in Ireland , meeting her family and going to the Pug Farm and Meeting in England too with the girls when they were young students.
The last time we had another, just 5 yrs ago. We drove to the 500 Club where Arlene and Bob met. We sat at the bar talking to the bartender with a drink in hand of course. We then ended up at a Restaurant Arlene said I had to try and Tops joined us. It was a fabulous and endearing evening!!
I will miss her but I have a wealth of memories to live on. She was a dear friend, more like a sister.
See you later Arlene. ❤️ Meg

I have such fond memories of Arlene when herself and Bob used to visit the Farrelly's in my granny's house many years ago. I was also very fortunate to visit them myself in their beautiful home. I was given such a wonderful welcome and was lucky enough to sample Arlene's fabulous cooking! She was a lovely lady.

I have so many fond memories of Arlene. She was my sister Meg's best friend. I remember when she took us to San Francisco to look at the Christmas display windows. I can still hear her laughing and her holding our hands.

Mr. Leingang, Lisa, Leslie and families,

I am so sorry for your loss of one of my absolute favorite people. From the first moment I had the pleasure of meeting Arlene, she was consistently and constantly full of life and fun. She always made me smile, as I'm sure she did you,, plus I considered her a confidante and kindred spirit regarding the world's most important topic:: making and eating food. I'll always remember her excitement at trying a Cosmopolitan for the first time at Boulevard Restaurant ("Bob, babe, you HAVE to try this Cosmopolitan!) and her never-ending enthusiasm for yukon gold potatoes. My heart and thoughts are with you all during this sad time and am hoping you are comforting each other with many happy memories. And know that when I am next in San Francisco, I'll be stopping by the 500 Club to raise a glass of Irish Mist to the great Arlene! All my love, Tops
