Margaret B. Carter

Margaret B. Carter, 86, of Graham, NC, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Blakey Hall Assisted Living Facility in Elon, NC.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Blackwood and the late Lela D. Everett.  She worked for many years as a teacher's assistant at Alexander Wilson Elementary School.  Margaret later retired from the UNC- Chapel Hill Medical Illustrations Department.

Survivors include her three children; Daughters, Sharon Fuqua, Teresa Pittman and her late husband Ron. Son, Rodney Carter and wife Jimi Jo.  Three Grandchildren, Joshua Fuqua, Jessica Flack and husband Ryan, Hannah Loftin and husband Aaron.  Five great grandchildren, Jace, Jaxon, Jett, Juliana and Abigail.

In light of the recent restrictions due to Coronavirus, the family will hold a graveside service Friday, March 20th, 2020 at 11:00 am at Graham Memorial Park.  Afterwards, the family will receive friends at her residence on Friday (March 20, 2020) from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and on Saturday (March 21, 2020) from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Margaret B. Carter.
