Mamie Austine Cook Jones, 87, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
A native of Blue Ridge, GA, she was the wife of the late James Claude Jones and the daughter of James Avery Cook and Margaret Van Dora Chambers Cook, both deceased. She was a former textile employee.
Survivors include a son, William Jones of the home; two sisters, Maxine Cole of Graham and Alma Lee Parrish of Snow Camp; and her four legged grandkids.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Don Pegg with the family receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
