Lucille Marie Cooke Golden Williams

Lucille Marie Cooke Golden Williams, 80, of Mebane passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late James M. Golden, Sr. and the wife of the late Jesse B. Williams, and the daughter of William Jasper Cook and Pauline Ingle Cook, both deceased. She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her six children, James M. Golden, Jr., Dennis A. Golden (Rose), Paula Andrews (Jimmy), Susan Smith (Randy), Sandra Littlefield, James M. Golden, III (Leigh); sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Golden; two sisters; Maggie Lee Guinn and Ruby Bland; and a brother, Bobby Cook.
