Lucille Smith Turner, 97, of Burlington passed away at the Alamance House on Friday, October 9, 2020.

A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of Grover Cleveland Smith and Lucy Pettigrew Smith, both deceased. She was a former employee of Eric’s Sewing Room, Inc.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Turner Blaylock of Burlington; son, Edward Braxton Turner, Jr. and wife Judy H. Turner of Burlington; sister, Frances Braxton of Dover, DE; three grandchildren, Jamie Pate, Trey Blaylock and Eddie Turner, III; and six great grandchildren, Braxton, Reilly, Ellis, Stella, Beck and Lela. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Leslie Blaylock a sister, Ethel Martin and 2 brothers, L.L. Smith and Thomas Smith.

Services for Mrs. Turner will be private.
