Linda Thomas Richards

Mrs. Linda Thomas Richards, 70, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:40 a.m.

A native of Stuart, VA, she was the wife of Johnny Ray Richards, who survives and the daughter of Mason and Thelma Whitaker Thomas, both deceased. She was a former office manager for D&S International and a member of Spring Lake Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Richards Parsons and husband David of Graham and Cathy McMillan and husband Doug of Burlington; two grandchildren, Jasmin McMillan and Kristin McMillan; and a niece, Patricia Stout. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mason Thomas, Billy Thomas, Tommy Thomas and a sister, Mildred Howard.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Keith Jones with the family receiving friends from 9:45 until 10: 45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Other times the family will be at the residence.
