Linda Cole Newton

Linda Cole Newton, 76, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 5:27 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was wife of the late Michael Clark Newton and the daughter of the late Thomas Ralph Cole, Jr. and the late Virginia Hall Cole. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elon and retired real estate paralegal.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Scott Newton and wife Jennifer and Brad Newton and spouse Frank Brooks; two grandchildren, Kelsey Madren and husband Justin and Tyler Newton; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Easton, Colton and Finley; one brother, Gary Cole; and one nephew, Garrett Cole.

A memorial service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Elon on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with the family receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
