Mr Leon Norris Wood Jr

Mr. Leon Norris Wood, Jr., 59, of Elon, NC, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 4, 2020, following several months declining health.

A native of Alamance County, Mr. Wood was the husband of Donna Wood and son of the late Leon Norris Wood, Sr. and Barbara Anne Wrenn Wood. He was a Truck Mechanic at L. J. Rogers Trucking.

Surviving, other than his wife of the home, are a step-daughter, Ashley Cabe; 2 step-sons, Shannon Gauze and Perry Gauze (Ashley); 8 grandchildren, Collin, Wyatt, Aspen, and Eden Gauze; Gabriel Russo, Stephen and Christian Cabe, and Liam Manwarren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Sue Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, at 2:00 PM, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington with Rev. Kellie K. Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
