Lena Sue Frye Hardy

Ms. Lena Sue Frye Hardy, 67, of Liberty Commons, Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 3:05 a.m. following seven years of declining health.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Bruce Frye and Bonnie Brown Frye, both deceased. Lena was a property manager for M & M Properties where she loved her job and worked very hard. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Murrell (James Allen) of Gibsonville; son, Mark Douglas Murrell of Chapel Hill; former daughter-in-law, Vickey Lynn Murrell; two grandsons, Tristian Murrell and Duncan Murrell, both of Gibsonville; step-granddaughter, Miriam Benfield of Ruffin; step-grandson, Joshua Allen of Gibsonville; two step-great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Frye.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
