Mr. Lawson Edward "L.E." "Pops" Walker

Mr. Lawson Edward “L.E.” “Pops” Walker, 61, of Graham, died on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 at his residence.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Robert Thompson Walker and Josie Lea Maddux Walker, both deceased. He was employed with Copland Fabrics for over 40 years and was avid fan of Professional wrestling.

Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Walker of Graham; stepson Jonathan Robert Mills and step-grandson Jonathan Edward Mills; two sisters, Bonnie Walker of Graham and Mary Rhew and husband Dale of Graham; two brothers, Danny Walker of Elon and Freddie Walker of Mebane; and his goddaughter, Christina Bryant. In addition to his family, Mr. Walker leaves behind a host of close friends and children that loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Spell.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. Rev. D.L. Perry will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the residence immediately following the service.
