A native of Alamance County, Lauren was the daughter of William Lindsey “Lin” Cobb and Breta Clayton Cobb.

Lauren was the owner of The Old Ski Lodge and Crossroads Tavern. Lauren would always be the first person to plan and organize motorcycle charity rides and benefits for people that had suffered tragedies in their lives and she was never seen without her “backwards” cap on.

In addition to her parents Lin and Breta Cobb, of the home, Lauren is survived by her sister, Lindsey Cobb Thompson and her husband, Daniel, of Burlington; her brother,  Clay Cobb and his wife, Jessie, of Raleigh; two special nephews, Jett and Ridge Thompson and her loving dog, Gunner.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington. At other times they will be at the residence.

A Celebration of Lauren’s life will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Mark’s Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert M. Disher and the Rev. Ben Bishop.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests  that memorial contributions be made to the Lauren Cobb memorial fund, which has been established at BB&T on South Church Street.
