Mr. Larry Alan Lasley, 63, of Mebane, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill from COVID-19.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Linda H. Lasley, who survives, and son of the late Neal and Lucille Hackney Lasley. He was retired from G.E. in Mebane, an active member for 44 years in the Swepsonville Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church.
Surviving, other than his wife of the home, are a daughter, Heather Lasley Walker and husband Adam of Efland; a son, Kevin Alan Lasley of Mebane; 3 grandchildren, Payton Rae Lasley, Knox Alan Walker, and Neal Carson Walker; and 2 sisters, Brenda L. McGhee and Sylvia L. Cooper, both of Mebane.
A private memorial service will be livestreamed to the public on the New Covenant Fellowship Church Facebook page beginning at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 17, 2021 with Rev. David Neff officiating. There will be a procession to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Cemetery through the Swepsonville and 54 East Fire Districts.
