Kenneth Wayne Ferrell

Kenneth Wayne Ferrell, 76, of Whitsett, passed away at Duke University Medical Center on Friday, November 19, 2021.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Robert E. Ferrell and the late Jane Moize Ferrell. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church and a member of the Burlington Shrine Club.

He is survived by five children; Robbie Ferrell and his wife Kristie, Graham Ferrell, Jayne Morataya and her husband Ron, Sharon Ferrell and Lisa Long; two sisters, Barbara Cox and Becky Swearingen; twelve grandchildren; Addison, Ethan, Raleigh, Jacob, Londyn, Lucas, Anthony, Bryson, Kristin, Brittany, Conner and Corey; and one great grandchild.

His memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Macedonia Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary one hour prior to the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
