Kathryn Tomlinson (Cornell)

Kathryn Tomlinson (Cornell), 94, of Graham passed away at Peak Resources Alamance on Monday, March 23, 2020.

A native of Green Cove Springs, FL, she was the daughter of King David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter Tomlinson, both deceased. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church for over 65 years.

Survivors include seven daughters, Sherry Beverly and husband Ken of Graham, Dot Jobe and husband David of Graham, Diane Payne of Burlington, Rhonda Pruitt and husband Johnnie of Haw River, Tawni Cornell of South Carolina, Trudi Schachel of Burlington and Kelly Terrell and husband Michael of Snow Camp; two sons, Curtis Ray Cornell, Sr. of Richmond, VA and Jesse Lee Cornell, III and wife Leslie of McLeansville; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Cornell; daughter, Cathy Cornell; granddaughter, Dawn Cooke; and grandson, Curtis Cornell, Jr.

In light of the recent mandate due to the Coronavirus, a private service for the family will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Thursday, March 26, 2020 by Rev. Bob Stephenson. Burial will be held at Graham Memorial Park.
