Kara Elizabeth Bramhall

November 2, 1980 ~ March 24, 2023 (age 42) 42 Years Old

Obituary

Kara Burruss Bramhall, 42, gained her angel wings and flew into her heavenly home on March 24th after a tenacious battle with breast cancer.

Reflecting about Kara and the impact she made in this world is like opening a big bag of joyous treasures. If Kara was around, you were guaranteed to have fun and laugh hard! Someone could write a book outlining her comical commentary, nicknames, and mantras for everyone and everything. Her piercing blue eyes, gorgeous white smile, and classy southern style lit up every room. Kara’s beauty and amusing nature was perfectly complimented by her solid and warm heart of gold.

Becoming a mom in 2019 was the best thing that ever happened to Kara. She was born to honor that role, and Ellie was the light of her life. A loving mother, a devoted spouse, the best daughter and sibling, a committed educator, and a loyal friend – Kara did it right and will be missed by so many.

The way Kara fought cancer is a testament to her bravery, strength, and graciousness. She continued to put others before herself and bring joy and hope to those around her. Kara donated her corneas to children who are blind, which means a sweet child will get to see the world through her eyes. What a beautiful sight that will be. May her strength, smile, and love shine down on us all.
