     Judy Carol Joyce Neese, 74,  of Burlington,  passed away on Friday,  1/10/2020 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
     Judy was the wife of the late James Milton Neese and the daughter of Paul Allen Joyce and Anna Yeatts Joyce,  both deceased.   Judy retired from Ametek, Inc. and was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.  She could be found celebrating birthdays with brothers and sisters or working out with the “Silver Sneakers” club,  sharing her contagious sense of humor.
      Judy is survived by her daughter,  Carla Neese,  of Graham;  her son,  Chris Neese, of Graham; sisters, Nancy Ribelin and her husband William,  of Yanceyville;  Linda Thomasson and husband, Richard, of Georgia;  her  brothers,  James Joyce;  George Joyce and his wife, Carol Jean;   both of Burlington.  In addition,  she will be greatly missed by her adoring grandchildren, Chase and Cassie Neese and numerous nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by sisters,  Doris Wheeler and Jessie McKinney and brothers,  Gene Joyce, Robert Joyce and Mike Joyce.
      A service to honor and celebrate Judy’s life will be held at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church on Wednesday, 1/15/2020 at 2:00 p.m.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m.  At other times,  they will be at the residence.
     The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the nurses in the ICU at ARMC for their care and compassion.
