Joyce Coble Peele

Joyce Coble Peele, 82, of North Topsail Beach, NC passed away at Davis Healthcare in Wilmington, NC on Friday, September 15, 2023.

A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of Raymond Arce Coble and Lucy Edna Coble, both deceased. Joyce was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. She loved her family and friends, who she considered her most valuable assets. Joyce retired from Lucent Technologies and made her dream come true by living at the beach for over 20 years where she enjoyed fishing, finding shells and shark teeth and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children Brenda P. Morse and husband Scott of North Topsail Beach, NC and David Peele and wife Tracy of Climax, NC; grandchildren, Taylor Morse of Willow Spring, NC, Mallorie Morse of Savannah, GA, and John David Peele of Atlantic, NC; and brothers Ronald Coble and wife Cindy of Graham, NC and Ray Coble and wife Kim of Hampstead, NC.

A graveside service will be conducted at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
