Joe has enjoyed supporting his 10 children, his 25 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Joe stayed active by going to youth sporting events, as well as chorus and band concerts. As a lifelong Catholic, he enjoyed supporting Blessed Sacrament Church and Blessed Sacrament School. During his retirement, Joe enjoyed and explored Burlington with daily bike rides and walks.
Joe Zang was a company man, but his family always came first. He had a comedic streak that you only saw if you knew him well. One of his last gifts to his family was a wry smile at some joke or memory that was shared.
Visitation begins at 10 am followed by a memorial service conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday May 19, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. A link to view the service will be provided by Rich & Thompson.
