Johnny Lee “Scotty” Pruitt, III, 33, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Johnny Lee Pruitt, Jr. and Beth Scott Rasnake Stuart, who survive. Scotty was employed with J. S. Pressure Cleaning and Paint Company, Inc. He was a member of the Regulators and Three Percenters Club and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, Beth and her husband John of Burlington and father, Johnny and wife Sheila of Snow Camp, survivors include two sisters, Missy Young and husband Gary of Burlington and Crystal Heitger and husband Stephen of Pleasant Garden; two brothers, Tripp Davis and Danielle Hall of Swepsonville and Ryan Pruitt and Jett York of Graham; maternal grandmother, Jeanett Scott of Burlington; paternal grandfather, Johnny Lee Pruitt, Sr. and wife Nancy of Holly Hill, FL; paternal grandmother, Barbara Jean Doby; three nieces; and nine nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Bennie Smith. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
