John Lee Samuel Strader

John Lee Samuel Strader, 74, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 22, 2022 following four months of declining health.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Edgar D. Strader and Elsie Cole Strader, both deceased. He retired from Glen Raven Mills and Burlington Mills. He loved to ride his scooter, listen to country music, and watch wrestling. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his fiancé, Patricia Morris of the home; son, Johnny Pruitt; two grandchildren, Savannah Pruitt and Lucas Pruitt; and two great grandchildren, Kyngston Davis and Gahlia Mai Davis. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister, Walter, Frank, Raymond, and Van Strader and Martha Wagner.
