John Clayton Snyder

John Snyder, 67, of Gibsonville, NC passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of Kim Snyder, who survives and the son of the late Harry Snyder and Ann Cantrell Snyder, who survives. He retired after 42 years of service with Duke Energy and in his later years worked in the transmission department. He was an avid golfer and loved to be outdoors. John was very dedicated to spending time with his family. He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two daughters, Kasey Snyder Dampier (Brent) and Amanda Snyder (Phillip Kelly); three granddaughters, Piper, Lila, and Grace; sister, Martha McManess; brother, Jeff Snyder; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Joyce Peele; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Snyder.

A memorial service will be conducted at Bethany Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 4:00 pm.
