John Anthony "Marty" Martinelli

John Anthony “Marty” Martinelli passed away peacefully on March 13, 2019. He was born on June 26, 1934. He lived in Massachusetts until he moved to North Carolina in 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Martinelli.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Martinelli; one sister, Margorie Tomeo; six children, Michael Martinelli (Kathleen), Steven Martinelli (Denise), Cherie Martinelli, Lisa Martinelli, Diane Martinelli and John Martinelli, II; eleven grandchildren, Jack Harper, III, Dustin, Tanner and Leigha Martinelli, John Michael, Benjamin and Jake Flaherty, Eric and Rachel Jones, Kelly-Anne Martinelli and Brittany Martinelli; and one great-grandchild, Jack Harper, IV.

His favorite thing in life was watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox play ball.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at the Haw River Cemetery.
