Joann McPherson McBane

     Joann McPherson McBane, 79,  of Snow Camp,  passed away peacefully on Saturday, 9/5/2020.   A native of Alamance County,  she was the wife of David Zane McBane,  who survives  and the daughter of Harlen McPherson and Beulah McPherson,  both deceased. 

     Joann retired in 2005 from Ametek Company in Graham.  She was a member of Chatham Friends Meeting and a former member of Harvest Baptist Church in Burlington.

     In addition to her husband,  she is survived by her sons,  Alton “Tinker” Smith, of Tennessee; Randy Ellington and his wife Christy, of Yadkinville;  Wayne Scott and his wife Amy,  of New London;  Mark McBane and his wife Tina,  of Snow Camp and Todd McBane and his wife Tracy,  of Elon.   Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandson,  Bryan McBane and brother, James McPherson.
