Mr Jimmy Lee Bowes

Mr. Jimmy Lee Bowes, 76, of Burlington, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A native of Alamance County, Mr. Bowes was the son of the late Albert Hassen Bowes, Sr. and the late Margaret Riggs Bowes.

Mr. Bowes is a veteran of the US Army and retired from Dexco.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Patty Jordan and her husband, Tommy, of Graham; his brothers, Albert H. “Pete” Bowes, Jr and his wife, Janie, of Burlington, Stephen B. Bowes, of Cary and a niece and two nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Alamance Memorial Park. Officiating will be Gordon Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
