Mr Jesse Eugene Andrews Jr.

Jesse E. “Cotton” Andrews Jr., 89, of Graham passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 at Peak Resources in Graham.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Jesse E. Andrews Sr. and Gertude V. Loy Andrews both deceased. Jesse graduated in 1949 from Graham High School and also graduated from Elon College. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War, a member of the Graham Square Miler, Graham Sports Hall of Fame and retired school teacher of 35 years

Survivors include nephew John Andrews Jr. (Terri) of Graham; two nieces Marie Allison (Michael) of Gibsonville; Beth Andrews (Kathleen Bedwell) of Graham; great nephew Jesse Allison of Gibsonville
great nieces Julia Allison of Gibsonville; Abby Andrews of Graham; sister-in-law Glenda R. Andrews of Graham.

He was preceded in death by a brother John Andrews Sr., two sisters Evon Storey and Monnie Gilley.

Graveside service will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Graham on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 2PM.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM to 1:45PM. Other times the family will be at the home of the sister in-law.
