Jenny Shaw Quakenbush

Jenny Shaw Quakenbush, 92, of Burlington, NC passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

A native of Madison County, GA, she was the wife of Tommy Scott Quakenbush, who survives and the daughter of Arthur Owen Shaw and Lottie Belle Hahn Shaw, both deceased. She was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Jenny was also a member of the Alamance Country Club.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three sons, Scotty Shaw Quakenbush, Randall Lee Quakenbush and wife Melanie, and Kerry Ryan Quakenbush; three grandchildren, Jennifer Blair Quakenbush, Brady Royl Quakenbush, and Ashton Ryan Quakenbush; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Franklin Shaw and wife Dolly and Robert Arthur Shaw and wife Thelma and beloved grandmother, Recie B. Hahn.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Jesse Baker with the family receiving friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
