Jean S. White

Graham – Mrs. Jean S. White, 79, of Graham, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Hospice
Home.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Jerry White, Sr. and daughter of the late Bernard C. Shults, Sr. and Lettie Mae Webster Shults. She was a retired sales associate from Belk. She was a member of Community Baptist Church for over 40 years where she was very active. Mrs. White was a member of the 1959 graduating class of E. M. Holt School and enjoyed attending the class reunions.

Survivors include a son, Ray White (Kelly) of Graham; two brothers, Bernard C. “Bun” Shults, Jr. (Susie) and James Rex Shults (Crissy), of Colonial Heights, VA; two grandchildren, Kayla White and Colin White; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Louise Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 5, at Community Baptist Church in Graham with Pastor Floyd Repass officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 6-8 PM, Friday evening, and other times at the residence.
