Jean Elaine Wallace

Jean Elaine Darnell Wallace, 71, of Mebane passed away at Peak Resources-Graham on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

A native of Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Roy Darnell and Louise Jenkins Darnell, both deceased. She was a former employee of UNC Healthcare and was a member of Lamb’s Chapel-Haw River Campus where she was extremely active in her Sunday School class. Jean loved her dog and cats.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Farris and husband David of Graham; son, Trey Wallace of High Point; one grandchild, A. J. Farris; brother, Tom Darnell and wife Kay; and sister, Linda Darnell. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Darnell and twin sibling infants.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends following the service. A graveside service will be held in Warsaw, VA at a later date.
