James Edward “Bill” Teer, 87, of Graham passed away at Peak Resources in Graham on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Ann Euliss Teer for 67 years and the son of the late Daniel O. “Doc” Teer and the late Odessa Stanley Teer. He graduated from Elon University where he earned a BS degree in Physics and then went on to earn his MBA from UNC-G. He was a member of Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from Western Electric as an engineer.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his daughters, Cathy Teer Evans and her husband Michael and Susan Teer Lambert; daughter-in-law, Barbara Parrish Teer; grandchildren, Alan Evans and his wife Carrie, Rachel Tangherlini and her husband Colin, Melinda Lambert, Amanda Teer Nelson and her husband Matt and Matthew Teer; and great-grandchildren, Eli Evans and Charlotte Evans.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Mark Edward Teer; son-in-law, Jimmy W. Lambert; and brother, Bobby D. Teer.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church.
