Wonderful memories will always be with me. The last time we talked you told me to put on a mask if I was going to help the nurse. You told me that I did not need the flu. That's Doc, always thanking of others. You were a special brother, OH!, that's right a special Brother-in-law. I could go on, about all the good things. Nothing was ever as important to me as how wonderful you were to my little sister.
Love Jim and Frances.

Worked for Doc at J Spencer Love Plant in the early 70's. Great supervisor and a fun guy to work with.

Our love and prayers are with each of you. Your Dad was a very Special person. We had great times as young married couples and having our first girls a month apart. Remember when each of you girls were born and when you got married Tracy. Your Mom and Dad were Special. Doc and Gary were the Two Musketeers growing up and not just cousins but best friends. We love each of you . Love, Linda and Gary McKinney

For over 20 years I've collected countless memories, lessons and opportunities which have helped mold me into a respectable young man. I watched you fix things and find solutions to problems with no help other than your two hands and brain. As time got on, our communication slow down but there wasn't a time or an instance where a situation reminded me of you and I would think of how you would handle it. Now I didn't always handle it the way you should as I'm not that strong willed but deep down I knew that probably if what I did didn't in line with you then it wouldn't have been the right thing. I often reminisce of the days sleeping over and waking up at a decent hour for breakfast and for home taught lessons of life morals and respect. You are great man person father and grandfather I will miss you as I am certain all those who you've interacted with in your life and I've left behind will miss you as well. I will always remember and cherish the times spent together and the lessons that you taught me, I love you Doc and tell Linda Gale that I miss and love her too.
