James Ralph Pike, 93, of Graham passed away at UNC Hospitals-Chapel Hill on Friday, November 2, 2018.
A native of Alamance County, he was husband of the late Fern Jenkins Pike and the son of the late Charles B. Pike and the late Izetta Stuart Pike. He was the former owner and operator of Ralph Pike Distribution Company and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham. He was also a member of the Thomas M. Holt Masonic Lodge and the Burlington Shrine Club for over 50 years where he received the Scottish Rite.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Youngblood and her husband Mark; one son, James “Jim” Pike, Jr. and his wife Tammy; one brother, Harry Pike and his wife Carol; two grandchildren, J.R. Pike and his wife Kaci and Michael Pike; one great-granddaughter, McKenna Pike; and one sister-in-law, Hedy Pike.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Pike, Mary Lee Riddle and Mabel Ann Pike; and six brothers, Charlie Pike, Jr., Bill Pike, Larry Pike, John Pike, Russell Pike and Gerald Pike.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Graham. The family will greet friends in the church parlor from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
