James Calvin Morris

James Calvin Morris, 80, of Greensboro passed away at Wesley Long Hospital on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

A native of Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Calvin Morris and Ruth Hunt Morris, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After the Air Force he had a successful career as a salesman in the electronics industry from which he retired in 2010. Shortly thereafter, he decided to begin working as a courier in the Greensboro area, finally joining the team at Radwell International where he worked until his death.

Survivors include two sons, Win Morris and wife Michelle and John Morris and wife Adrienne and five grandchildren, Eli, Evan, Ethan, Lucas, and Emily. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Woodard.

The family would like to thank all the many family and friends, especially Radwell International, for the support during his courageous battle these past few months.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home 306 Glenwood Ave. Burlington, NC 27215.
