Mr. James “Snake” Madison, Sr., 69, of Graham, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 following an 8 month illness.
A native of Bowling Green, KY, he was the husband of Linda Madison, and son of the late James Wesley Madison and Nina Blanton Madison. Mr. Madison was retired from Lorillard after 38 ½ years service. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving, other than his wife of the home, are a son, James Madison, Jr. of Graham; two daughters, Denise Madison Jones (Daniel) of Pleasant Garden and Neva Madison Bowden (Nathan) of Burlington; grandchildren, Veronica, Jordan (Eric), Nolan, Daniel Casey, and Nevan; great grandson, Lathan; sister, Clara Madison Miller (Roy) of Huff, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with Father Paul Lininger officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Graham from 6-8 PM, Friday.
