Mr James W Lyon

James W. Lyon, 93, of Burlington passed away at UNC Healthcare Rockingham on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 5:55 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Lorene Turner Lyon and the son of Thomas Pride Lyon and Eva Howell Lyon, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and former realtor with Lyon-Moore & Associates. He was former president and member of the Realtor’s Association. Mr. Lyon was a member of Elon Community United Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela L. Dann of Burlington; son, J. Keith Lyon and wife Lori of Miami, FL; and two grandchildren, Dr. Briana Goldberger and husband Dr. Gregory Goldberger and Brittany Villalard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
