James Clay Joyce

James “Clay” Joyce, 80, of Graham passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

A native of Buchanan County, VA, he was the husband of the late Ann Dodson Joyce and the son of Howard Robert Joyce and Anna Lucille White Joyce, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a retired general contractor.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Lloyd and Teresa Owen; four grandsons, Harvey Terrell, Ian Lloyd, Jed Lloyd and Billy Owen; one granddaughter, Julianne Garner; three brothers, Rufus Joyce, Mack Joyce and Jerry Joyce; and one sister, Leiburn Parks. He was preceded in death by one stepson, Clifton Van Lloyd and two brothers, David Keith Joyce and Floyd Joyce.

A graveside service will be conducted at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
