Dean Thomas

Mr. Dean Thomas of Graham, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

A native of Alamance County, Dean was the son of Gene and Pat Thomas and husband of Angela Massey Thomas. He was an auto parts manager and attended Haw River United Methodist Church.

Surviving, other than his parents and wife, are two daughters, Courtney Thomas of Haw River and Deanna Friddle (Evan) of Liberty; grandson, Kameron Cone; a brother, Scott Thomas (Stephany) of Haw River; two nieces Katie Thomas and Heather Thomas Burns; close friends Chris & Wendy Westbrooks; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at Haw River United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Laure Kalau and Rev. Jeanne Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Haw River Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his parents, 1179 Noah Rd., Graham, NC 27253.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 or to Haw River United Methodist Church, PO Box 460, Haw River, NC 27258-0460.
