Hugh A. Parks, Jr.

Hugh Alexander Parks, Jr.,77, of Burlington passed away at White Oak Manor on Friday, March 10, 2023.

A native of Lumberton, NC, he was the husband of the late Sue Jenkins Parks and the son of Hugh A. Parks, Sr. and Murial Elmira Robeson Parks, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Hugh was the Scheduling Manager at Westpoint Stevens, Inc., and later worked at Woodworkers Supply in the sales department. He enjoyed spending time with his family and woodturning with his hands making bowls, pens, and duck calls. He was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include two sons, Brian A. Parks and wife Laura of Fuquay Varina and David W. Parks and wife Stacey of Clayton; four grandchildren, Carson and Aubrey Parks and Delaney and Everly Parks; and three siblings, Blaine Parks of Littleton, Stuart Parks of Pink Hill, and Ginger Lee Gatlin of Smithfield.
