After a lengthy illness, Henry Alton Williams, Jr. age 70, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday morning, July 25th at his residence in Brevard, N.C. He was born in Silver Springs, Md. On August 15, 1949.
He was a loving husband, father. For much of his career he worked for Coeco Copier Co. as senior technician. He was also a self-employed accomplished artist. One of his passions was to go hiking in the mountains, taking photographs which were inspirations for many of his paintings. He also loved to garden.
He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Garner, NC.
He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Boos, her husband, Joe, grandsons, Gerrek Boos and Kyland Boos of Fuquay-Varina, NC; siblings, Patricia Hayes of Graham, N. C.; Barbara Cobb and husband Charles of Brevard, N. C.; Sandra Hart of Gibsonville, N.C.; Sheila Brooks and husband, Mike, of Burlington, NC and Ronald Williams of Lillington, N.C. There are also 11 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Katherine Williams Ayers and Henry Alton Williams, Sr. and brother-in-law, Eric Hart.
A graveside service will be conducted at Graham Memorial Park on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Charles Cobb.
