Mr. Henry Franklin Chriscoe, 83, of Burlington, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Peak Resources in Graham.
A native of Alamance County, Mr. Chriscoe was the husband of Bobbie Belch Chriscoe and the son of the late Henry Harrison Chriscoe and the late Maude Agnes Cooper Chriscoe.
Mr. Chriscoe retired from Western-Electric and was a veteran of the US Army.
Mr. Chriscoe attended Bellemont United Methodist Church. He was a drag racer, avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time working in his yard. He most enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie, of the home; son, Henry Franklin Chriscoe, Jr.; stepson, James Carlton Sharpe, Jr. and his wife, Lynne; a sister, Ruby Lee Lassiter and a granddaughter, Tiffany Lynne Sharpe.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Chriscoe was preceded in death by three brothers, Alton, Elvin and Cecil Chriscoe and three sisters, Blanche Chriscoe Euliss, Gladys Mae Chriscoe Smith and Ruth Chriscoe Dishman.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Other times they will be at the residence.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Rich and Thompson Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Farron Duncan. Burial will be at Alamance Memorial Park.
